Fraternity to organize New Year's gala in Sacramento

The Elite Epsilon Xi Chapter will be holding a gala in December at the DoubleTree Hotel in Sacramento.

A Night with The Ques New Year's Eve Gala is a party where guests can celebrate the end of the year while listening to R&B and soul music. Musical entertainment for the experience is provided by the Love Somebody Band and DJ Bless Martin. There will also be a comedic performance from Memphis Will. Guests can take part in a silent auction and buy raffle tickets for prizes. The venue will have a designated cigar section for smokers.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and DoubleTree Hotel will be establishing some guidelines for keeping the gala safe. Capacity for the New Year's party is limited, and guests may need to cover themselves with a mask depending on current protocols from the government. Disposable masks will be handed to attendees who ask for one. Those coming to the party will also need proof of vaccination or recent negative COVID test results.

The gala will take place from 9:00 pm to 2:00 and will cost $120 for a single ticket. Admission to the event will include a midnight breakfast buffet and champagne to toast.
