The traveling dinosaur show Jurassic Quest will be visiting Sacramento in January at the Cal Expo event space.
Jurassic Quest is a family-friendly convention that is one of the largest and most realistic dinosaur-related events in the United States. Several activities are available for children, like inflatables, dinosaur rides, raptor training, and a giant fossil dig. The event also features a life-sized model dinosaur exhibit with more than 100 models. The exhibit will have a giant T-rex, megalodon, and Spinosaurus. Visitors can guide themselves during their quest through the convention.
The organizers for the show have taken some precautions to help families stay safe while exploring the indoor attraction. Crew members at the convention will frequently sanitize the dinosaur rides and inflatables with a CDC-approved sterilizer, and all employees for the event will be wearing face coverings. There are designated timeslots for guests throughout the day to minimize the number of attendees at the show. The dinosaur convention will be held from Friday, January 7 to Sunday, January 9. Standard admission for children and adults will cost $22, while senior tickets are $19.
