The 37th Annual Sacramento Black History Month Expo is set to take place in Sacramento this February.
This expo, hosted by Black Expo Events, celebrates African American contributions while promoting community unity and progress. Running for a week and culminating on President’s Day, the Expo aligns with Black History Month's historical roots, honoring influential figures like Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass.
With nearly 40 years of legacy, the event inspires youth, supports local businesses, and fosters educational and economic opportunities under the theme “Dreams from the Past, Inspire Hope for the Future.”
This year’s Expo will feature entertainment for all ages, including forums on improving education, a job resource hub, and health and wellness initiatives addressing disparities in the African American community. Business networking will also be available to promote economic inclusivity.
Additional attractions include a small business district, a family-owned business district, children’s activities, a senior’s pavilion, a college fair, and a women's conference.
The expo is free to attend and interested individuals can register through the Eventbrite listing. The organizers may use poster printing to promote events such as this one.
The expo will run from February 14 to 17 at different venues across Sacramento. The Monday, February 17 event will run from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento.
