The California Brewers Festival will take place in Sacramento this September. Point West Rotary Foundation is presenting it.
This 30th installment of the California Brewers Festival will offer an exciting day for all beer enthusiasts. Additional experiences such as the Beer Mile Race, food from community vendors, and live music will be offered.
The festival is known for bringing together beer lovers and raising almost $1.76 million for regional charities. Dr. Peck, a Point West Rotarian was inspired to create the California Brewers Festival after attending the 1993 Oregon Brewers Festival. After conveying his idea to his club the first installment of the California Brewers Festival was put on. The first occurrence was in 1994.
The festival moved locations throughout the years. It eventually found a permanent home at Discovery Park. As it celebrates three decades, the festival is recognized not just as a gathering, but as an expression of community, passion, and giving back.
The cost to attend for Designated Drivers is $10, $40 for Beer Relay Team members, $45 for General Admission, and $75 for VIP Admission. VIP perks will include early access, unique cups, and food vouchers. For more information, individuals can contact the organizers via email at brewfest@pointwestrotary.com or visit the festival’s listing.
