Planes-n-Treats and Wings & Treats will be two events at Riverside area aviation venues on the same day in October.
On Saturday, October 19 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, The Riverside Airport Café at 6951 Light Road will have its free 3rd annual Planes-n-Treats Halloween event. More than 20 planes will be decked out in Halloween trappings, and children may go from one to the next for candy.
More than 100 vendors will be on hand, along with food trucks and a wine and beer garden for the adults. DJ D Dizzle and Angel Baby will provide music entertainment, and Black Diamond Valet shuttles will be available from the Harvest Church parking lot.
Also on October 19, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the March Field Air Museum will present its annual free Wings & Treats event. The museum will transform into a Halloween adventure with the planes aglow with lights. Kids can meander through the helicopters and planes collecting Halloween treats, while adults can relax in a beer garden. Evelyn from the 991 KGGI street team will be meeting and greeting guests. Free parking will be available at the venue.
