Two festivals coming with Mexican theme
Those in Riverside who enjoy festivals will have two Mexican options - Festival Mi Vida Hermosa in mid-August and Mucho Gusto Fest 2024 coming toward the end of September.
Mi Vida Hermosa 2024 will be a food and music fest with live music, a taco and salsa competition, Lucha Libre, Ballet Folklorico, margarita and beer garden, games and vendors.
Latino and Mexican bands will include a Selena tribute band, Adelaide Pillar, Lost Traviezos Del Norte, a Carlos Santana cover band, and Vilma Diaz y Sonora.
Proceeds from the event will go to Courageous Heart, a non-profit organization whose mission is to break the failure cycle of foster children and other vulnerable individuals.
Festival Mi Vida Hermosa will take place in Downtown Riverside, at White Park, 3885 Market Street, Saturday, August 17th from noon to 8:00 pm.
Mucho Gusto Fest 2024, a festival to inspire change and celebrate those who do, will have singing, dancing, and pinata smashing. Guests may meander through more than 40 art vendor booths, enjoy pupusas (cornmeal or rice flatbread), tacos and vegan dishes from local food trucks, and view the 20 art installations sprinkled around the venue.
