Community Services Department and City of Riverside Parks, and Recreation will host five free family-friendly Summer Fun Concerts in the Park featuring Southern California artists on Wednesdays beginning in early July.
On Wednesday, July 6, Stone Soul will be belting out Motown. July 13 will see Steel Rod play top 40 variety tunes, and July 20 has Tania y Su Nueva Era presenting an evening of cha-cha, salsa, merengue, and cumbia Latin music. On July 27, Kings of 88 will play pop and rock, and on August 3, C4 will present Latin mix.
Concert guests may treat themselves to food and beverages offered for sale by local vendors, and there will be a beer garden for the adults. Craft vendors will also be on site displaying and selling their homemade items. There will also be fun activities and swag. Everyone is encouraged to bring blankets, and either beach or lawn chairs.
Guests at events such as this often ask those artists they especially enjoy if they have brought any Promotional Products such as hats, Mugs, or sweatbands featuring the artist’s logo or graphic design, along with CDs or records available for purchase.
Summer Fun Concerts in the Park will take place at Fairmount Park, 2601 Fairmount Blvd. Each event will begin at 6:00 pm and end around 8:00 pm.
