Summer here in Riverside will offer free Movies in the Park from July through August, and free Riverside Concerts in the Park from June through July.
Stone Soul will start the Riverside Concerts in the Park series by playing Motown on June 21, and the All Stars will play ‘80s throwback material on June 28.
The three concerts in July will be C4 -a Top 40 variety band- on the July 12; Brent Payne playing country on July 19; and another Top 40 variety band, The Hodads, on July 26.
Other perks include a beer garden, fun activities such as bounce houses, slot car racing and face painting, and food vendors.
Vendors at events such as this often make a little extra money by allowing local businesses to put their Logo Design on the vendors’ paper products.
Riverside Concerts in the Park will take place at Fairmount Park, 2601 Fairmount Boulevard, and run from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesdays.
Movies in the Park will begin with DC League of Super Pets, on July 14, at Hunt Park. That will be followed on July 21 by Super Mario Bros at Villegas Park, and Family Camp at La Sierra Park on July 28.
August movies will be Rock Dog 3 at Reid Park on August 8, Vivo at Bryant Park on August 11, and Sonic 2 at Bordwell Park on August 18.
All movies will start at dusk.
