Riverside Philharmonic holds fundraiser and holiday concert

Two events are scheduled for the Riverside Philharmonic in early December. One will be a Silent Night Silent Auction, and the other will be the 2022 Philharmonic Holiday Concert.

Riverside Philharmonic board of directors and the orchestra’s Maestro Tomasz Golka will be joining attendees for a gala evening – Silent Night Silent Auction – of holiday music provided by the Philharmonic’s award-winning brass quintet. The event will be a fundraiser for the upcoming Riverside Philharmonic holiday concert. Tickets are $100.

Silent Night Silent Auction will be Monday, December 5 from 5:30 pm too 8:00 pm at the Canyon Crest Country Club, 975 Country Club Drive.

Professional orchestras like the Riverside Philharmonic often have pictures taken during events such as this. These photos go to local Print shops to be included in the organization’s future advertising materials.

The 2022 Philharmonic Holiday Concert will feature a program of seasonal music including Song of Bells, A Christmas Festival by Leroy Anderson, A Channukah Overture by Robert Wendel, and the orchestra’s own music director Tomasz Golda’s Ukrainian Christmas Overture. Choir students from the Riverside Arts Magnet school will perform music from Home Alone 2 with the orchestra and join in the orchestra’s traditional singalong. The evening will end with traditional holiday favorites.

General admission will be $20, while rear orchestra is $35 and main orchestra is $50.

The 2022 Philharmonic Holiday Concert will be held Saturday, December 10 beginning at 3:00 pm at the Ramona High School Theater, 7675 Magnolia Avenue.
