Riverside offers fireworks at multiple locations

Riverside Independence Day revelers will have three options to view fireworks on July 4.

The Spectacular Fourth of July Aerial Fireworks Show will be shown at two locations this year. One will be at Mount Rubidoux La Sierra Park and the other at 5216 La Sierra Avenue on Mount Rubidoux Drive. Both locations will have free admission and parking. The shows will start at 9:00 pm.

Those wanting what the organizers describe as “the best seats in the house” will be flocking to Founders’ Day Front Row Fireworks from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

Ransom will provide ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s live music, and guided tours through the Evergreen Memorial Historic Cemetery will be available. Kids can enjoy a Fun Zone, face painting, bounce houses, and a balloon artist. All can go on a scavenger hunt, and food vendors will have summer goodies for sale.

Many food vendors at events such as this often serve their drinks in plastic cups, each featuring a red, white, and blue patriotic graphic design such as the American flag, bald eagle, or fireworks.

Adult general admission will be $10 and admission for children from the ages of 3 to 12 will be $5. Kids two and under will get in for free.

Guests are invited to bring picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs to the corner of 4th street and Pine to enjoy the fireworks. Proceeds will go to The Evergreen Memorial Historic Cemetery.
