The Riverside Women’s Club will be presenting Gold Leaf Theatre Productions’ Fourth Annual One Act Festival later this month.
This three-day event will feature a youth production, comedies, and a provocative presentation performed in one-act segments. Over 25 actors from around the Island Empire will be presenting these short vignettes.
The first night’s line up will be ‘The Game’, ‘The Red Lamp’, and ‘This Side of Heaven’. The Saturday matinee will be a repeat of the night before. ‘The Irish Engagement’, ‘The Apple’, and ‘The Noble Lord’ will be shown on the next evening and repeated on Sunday afternoon. Friends and neighbors of these thespians may want to get some pictures taken for later poster printing, or maybe even personal Stationery printing.
Gold Leaf Theatre is a nonprofit organization that brings positive theater experiences to the Riverside community. For those aspiring actors here in Riverside, the next production will be ‘Steel Magnolias’ and auditions will begin in August.
The event is scheduled for July 22 through 24 at the Riverside Women’s Club at 4092 10th Street in Riverside. The curtain will rise at 7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. It will also go up for the Saturday and Sunday matinee shows, both of which are at 3:00 pm. Tickets will range from $10 presale to $12 if purchased at the door.
