Mission Inn Hotel and Spa is presenting its yearly month long Festival of Lights.
Over five million lights and a fireworks show will kick off the season November 29 from noon until 10:00 pm. The lighting ceremony will take place from 4:30 pm until 10:00 pm.
Santa will be available for photos on Main Street between Mission Inn Avenue and University Avenue. The Entertainment Stage will feature our area’s best talent nightly. The stage will be located on Main Street between 10th Street and City Hall.
Between 9th Street and University Avenue, the Artisans Collective will featuring local artists’ original art, local musicians and free art workshops. The Collective will be open Thursday through Sunday from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
Horse carriage rides will be available daily at three locations from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm, and the carousel and the Century Wheel will be open at 10th and Main in parking lot 34 next to City Hall.
The massive UCR snow globe will be back again this year. It will be located on Main Street between University Avenue and Mission Inn Avenue. The globe will have a 14-foot tall replica of the bell tower along with inspiring students’ stories. In past years, guests have enjoyed taking pictures at this experience, and many have had plenty of time to get the photos to local Stationery printers to be made into Holiday Cards.
