What's Happening in Riverside, CA…

Riverside eats through March

Three food festivals are scheduled for Riverside this March.

This Sunday, March 1, California Citrus State Historic Park’s Annual Citrus Tasting and Family Festival will offer guests 20 samples of kinds of fruits right out of the site’s groves. Local community groups will have cultural and historical displays that will depict issues facing today’s citrus industry.
The site will also feature activities and games with citrus themes.

The Tasting Festival will be from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at California Citrus State Historic Park, 9400 Dufferin Avenue.

The following Sunday, March 8, Thompson Brewing, 9900 Indiana Ave. Ste 7, will host a family-friendly Donut Fest Inland Empire starting at noon. Attendees will sample from quarter to whole donuts, sipping coffee and beverages and choosing the Inland Empire’s Favorite Donut. Some of the proceeds will go to the Hospitality Fund.

The next Saturday, March 21, foodies can eat their way through the local Mac & Cheese Festival. Over 40 local top chefs will be preparing their cheesy favorites and there will be no limit to the number of samplings that each person will be allowed to have.

In between bites, festivalgoers can enjoy lawn games and live music. The Mac & Cheese Fest will be from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm in North Park. Tickets must be purchased before event day.

Festivals like these often get banner printing done beforehand so banners are available to greet visitors at the entrance.
