The Riverside Convention Center has holiday events scheduled for the Christmas season it calls Festival of Trees. These will include a fundraiser, a tree extravaganza, a boutique, children’s day, and a family festival.
The Riverside University Health System Foundation’s Mistletoe Magic Gala will be raising money for programs and equipment that benefit children in our area. The evening will include a silent and a live auction. It will feature a gourmet dinner, dancing, and entertainment.
A couple of days later, the festival will get into full swing when The Festival of Trees will start with a Storytime with Santa. With a backdrop of over 50 decorated Christmas trees, a holiday boutique will have over 25 vendors. Later in the afternoon Santa’s Little Helpers will be making Holiday Cards for hospitalized children. The Switch on Festival of Lights Ceremony will then take place. Local youth will be performing on stage at the Jingle Bell Jam. Senior citizens are invited to attend the Senior Stroll – a guided tour through the trees with refreshments and games afterward.
All these events will be at the Riverside Convention Center at 3637, 5th Street here in Riverside. The Mistletoe Magic Gala will be November 22 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The Festival of Trees will go from November 25 through November 27. Doors open at 10:00 am.Get a Free Quote for Holiday Cards
