Both families and those without kids here in Riverside will have venues to celebrate the New Year.
The will be a New Year’s Eve celebration for the whole family and a ‘Party the Night Away’, which will be for the older (more adult) crowd.
The family New Year’s Eve party, part of Riverside’s ‘Festival of Lights’, will have food trucks, children’s activities, lights, and a countdown complete with confetti at 9:00 pm. Admission will be free.
‘NYE 2016-2017: Party the night away’ will be for adults. This will be the second year for the fundraising event. DJ Mental Physix will provide the music, and DLS Events Catering will be on hand with the food.
Tickets for the evening will include two beverages and champagne for the midnight toast. They also include a photo booth pictures, which may offer good subjects for future poster printing. Art activities and a countdown shown on an art projection will round out the evening.
The family New Year’s party will be at the Riverside Main Library, 3581 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside. The event will open at 6:00 pm and go until 9:00 pm on December 31.
‘Party the Night Away’ will be at the Riverside Art Museum, 3425 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside from 9:00 pm on December 31 until 12:30 on the morning of January 1, 2017.
