Riverside builders to attend expo

Building industry professionals, local builders, contractors and supporting business owners will want to mark their Calendars for the upcoming Building-Industry Show.

This will be the 26th year for this event, with the theme being ‘Locally Grown’, alluding to the idea that the event will resemble a farmers’ market of local building industry professionals.

Nearly 100 exhibitors, all professionals in our local building industry, will be displaying new products, getting information out to new possible clientele, and reconnecting with their old regulars. Both guests and presenters will want to remember to bring their digital Business Cards.

The Keynote Breakfast will feature Joel Kotkin, a Chapman University Roger Hobbs Fellow of Urban Studies. The Building Panel Luncheon will involve key leaders discussing current hot topics. This year’s theme will be the newest developments in residential construction. Networking will be one of the prime reasons to attend. Another will be the educational workshops that will be offered on the main floor.

A seminar will be given by the Building Industry Legal Defense Foundation and will discuss Net Zero Development – Water and Energy. The event will conclude with the presentation of the annual Coolest New Product presentations and the announcing of the Builder of the Year.

The show is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, from 10:30 am until 9:30 am Thursday, November 5, at the Riverside Convention Center, 3637 Fifth Street, Riverside.
