Rivers & Lands Conservancy holds gala

Riverside’s Rivers & Land Conservancy will be holding its 9th annual Gala in mid-October.

A reception with appetizers will begin the evening. The reception will also include beverages, silent auction, and a live animal meet-and-greet. Dinner will be green salad, pasta entrees, and desserts. Proceeds from the silent auction will go to the Rivers & Lands Conservancy.

This year’s Environmental Awardee will be Lauren Cochrane, a teacher at Banning High School. The honor will be given for her untiring work in facilitating the high school’s Rivers & Lands Conservancy’s Acorns to Oaks program.

Individual tickets for the event will be $150. These include admission, beverages, appetizers, and dinner. Tables for eight will be available for $1750. Along with seating for eight and the previous perks, this sponsorship will include sponsor recognition during the evening.

Sponsorships range from the $500 Supporter up to the $10,000 Guardian. All sponsorships (except the $1750 Table sponsor) will have their company Logo Design included in the gala program and all sponsors will get recognition in the Rivers & Lands Conservancy annual report.

The Rivers & Lands Conservancy works to maintain Southern California natural, wild, open spaces, thereby providing the community with habitats for local wildlife.

Rivers & Lands Conservancy Annual Gala will take place October 13th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Crestmore Manor, 4600 Crestmore Road, Jurupa.
