Now that October is here, it will soon be time for Riverside ghosts and goblins to get their spook on as they prepare for California Riverside Ballet Ghost Walk.
This will be the 23rd year for this Riverside family event, and promoters say that the traditional Halloween ghost story tours will have more options than last year – something they are no doubt promoting via poster printing.
The event will offer six tour options this time round. Two, rated G, will be ‘Spellbound Night’ and ‘Skull Walk’. The PG-13 ones will include ‘Blood Springs Road’, ‘Black Shadows’ and a new one this year, the Haunted History Tour & Paranormal Exhibit. This last tour will be headed by experts from SRC Paranormal. Guests will be treated to a spiritual audio and video presentation and photos that put forward an argument that spirits are among us. There will also be a demonstration given by a ghost hunter.
‘Dark Dreams Doorway’ will be returning for its third year. It is a 60-second audio sensory experience where Riverside visitors step through a doorway and experience spooky sounds.
On site will be a Halloween carnival for the children, live bands, and other entertainment, together souvenir stands and vendors who will be selling freaky food.
As always, the event will be held the weekend before Halloween, October 24 - 25, at Downtown Riverside Main Street Pedestrian Mall, Main and University St. in Riverside.
