Locals to go on ghost walk
Ghost Walk Riverside: Nevermore will be in Riverside before the end of this month.
The Halloween block party experience will be steeped in the macabre with live performances of scenes from the writings of Edgar Allan Poe, and the morbid humor of Addams Family's Wednesday.
The $20 tour reservations will include admission to the park, access to the park attractions, and four story stops tour outside the park. Each stop will be spooky skits performed by Riverside Unified School District high school students, CarnEVIL performers and dance performances.
Guests may opt for admission tickets for $12.51 and enjoy the live entertainment, 14 Halloween-themed games, vendors, kids' carnival, and costume contest.
Gates will open at 5:00 pm followed by the kids’ carnival from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. A Rav-N Dance Party will also take place from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. A 12-minute Thriller Dance performed by the Ghost Walk Riverside dancers will run every 20 minutes from 8:10 pm to 9:40 pm.
Arlington High School Theater will present stories such as Midnight at the Nevermore, and Wednesday Addams and the Crystal Ball every 30 minutes. At 7:00 pm there will be a Wednesday Dance Flash Mob. Those interested in participating can learn the dance on TikTok beforehand.
Stationery printers often use pictures taken at events like this on their Halloween cards.
The Ghost Walk will take place on Friday, October 25 at White Park, 3936 Chestnut Street.
