Local small businesses to connect with national companies

In a couple of weeks, The Riverside Community Health Foundation will be presenting its Inland Empire’s 5th Annual Multicultural BizFest and Mixer.

Once again it will be bringing business owners from here in Riverside County together to share an evening of seminars, resources, and networking. This year’s theme will focus on bringing national businesses in contact with small companies.

Representatives from both national and small businesses will want to remember their digital Business Cards. Benefits to attending this event, aside from the free appetizers and no-hosts bar, will be increasing contacts, sales, and business earnings, while also increasing access to services. The event will also present speakers including Mayor William Bailey, Stan Morrison, and Hector Barreto, and workshops that will issue on-site certifications.

Workshops will include Banking Services Applicable for Small Businesses and Certifications for your Business. This year’s event will have raffle prizes like the front row Lakers tickets that were awarded last year. Early registration entries will automatically be entered in a raffle for Disneyland tickets. Sponsors for the evening will receive five- and three-minute podium announcements, program acknowledgements, and visibility on the event video. After the evening’s festivities, there will be a VIP mixer.

The BizFest will be Wednesday, August 26, from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm, at the Fox Performing Arts Center, 3801 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside.
