The Mission Inn Foundation will hold its 2021 Frank Miller Civic Achievement Award dinner and ceremony early in September.
The Frank Miller Civic Achievement Award has been established to recognize groups, couples or individuals that have made outstanding contributions to Riverside in civic leadership, community devotion or innovations. This year’s recipient will be Brian Jaramillo.
Jaramillo has previously won the Riverside’s City Spirit Award for this involvement in the Grove Village project and his efforts in tandem with the Grove Community Church to give local homeless families and individuals housing opportunities. As COO of Tilden-Coil Constructors, Jaramillo has organized fundraising for Path of Life Ministries, the Riverside Educational Enrichment Foundation, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Businesses, clubs, organizations and individuals purchasing any of the six sponsorships ranging from $250 to $10,000 need to get their messages sent in as soon as possible to be included in this year’s commemorative brochure printing.
Individual tickets will be $175. The organizers suggest making reservations early as seating is limited.
Entrée meal selections will be filet mignon, salmon, or vegetarian.
The 2021 Frank Miller Civic Achievement Award dinner and ceremony will be Thursday, September 9th at the Riverside Convention Center, 3637 Fifth Street beginning at 6:00 pm. The event will open at 5:00 pm and the evening will wind down around 9:00 pm.
