Healthcare organization holds charity golf tournament

SoCal HIMSS (Southern California Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) is preparing for its Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which takes place in early May.

The event will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 am. Golfers may enjoy closest to the pin, longest drive and hole-in-one contests, along with raffle prizes.

Proceeds from this year’s tournament will go to the Assistance League of Riverside. This 501(c)(3) all-volunteer non-profit organization offers programs to local children in need.

Individual player tickets are available for $250 and must be purchased before May 5. Foursomes pay $1,000.

A number of sponsorship packages are available. The Platinum $3,000 hole sponsorship will include an all-day presence at one hole. The Company’s Logo Design and name will be on the tee box marker, and the sponsor can customize the experience for the tournament participants. Post-round display sponsors at the $1,500 level will also have company signage on tee box markers on the course and will get a display table at the post party. The $700 Silver Tee marker level will come with the company’s name and Logo Design on tee box marker. All sponsorships come with company listings on the SoCal MIMSS website.

The SoCal MIMSS Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be on Monday, May 8 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Canyon Crest Country Club, 975 Country Club Drive, Riverside.
