Pleasant Hill club teaches children to bike

The Two-Wheelers Club will be meeting in June at Pleasant Oaks Park in Pleasant Hill to help kids get to grips with their bicycles.

The Two-Wheelers Club is a five-day camp where children are introduced to cycling skills that grow their confidence and build stamina while biking. The course will be held in a safe environment with no traffic to help kids improve their balance and coordination. Coaches at the camp use praise and encouragement to teach to create a fun and encouraging atmosphere for the campers. Kids will get to play games and ride their bikes through obstacle courses.

The camp is held by the Wheel Kids Bicycle Club, which is a group founded in 2010 that organizes activities for various age groups and biking abilities. Past programs from the organization include daily bike rides, bicycle maintenance instruction, and family rides. The group also has locations in cities like San Francisco and Palo Alto. Instructors offering experiences such as this can promote their programs with flyer printing.

The bicycling camp will be held from Monday, June 14 to Friday, June 18 and will cost $285 per student. Each lesson will last from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. The program is intended for kids who are between four and eight. People can learn about other services offered by the organization by visiting its website.
