Haunted stroll provides Halloween fright in Pleasant Hill
Pleasant Hill residents looking for a fun way for the family to enjoy the spooky season are in luck, as a haunted trail walk is in the works in Pleasant Hill.
The PHRec Haunted Trail 2025, which is being organized by the Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District, is gearing up to welcome area residents and visitors for a fun evening celebrating Halloween. Attendees will see and experience spooky sights and sounds as they walk along the trail. It will double as a community-based trick-or-treat experience for area youth.
The trail will follow a paved path around the athletic fields at the nearby Pleasant Hill Park. Interested parties are welcome to enter anywhere along the path to participate, but are asked to walk in a counter-clockwise direction. Flyer printing is a classic way to promote such events in the community via placing flyers in high-traffic areas around town.
The event is open to interested parties of all ages. The trick-or-treat segment of the stroll will continue until supplies run out. A dance competition will be a new feature of the Halloween stroll, with the music being provided by A.J. from New You Dance Center.
The spooky stroll is scheduled for Friday, October 24th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. No tickets or reservations are required, and costumes are strongly encouraged.
