Yoga brings peace to Pleasant Hill amid holidays
The holidays have arrived in Pleasant Hill, and area residents who want a break from the hustle and bustle can find solace at a local yoga event.
The Yoga Nidra Experience: Reset Your Nervous System, organized by Dr. Alandi Stec, will welcome guests for an immersive yoga experience that promotes relaxation and peace during a stressful time of the year. The guided session is designed to leave each participant feeling restored and ready to take on the new year.
Dr. Alandi, a Reiki Master, will be the instructor for the session. Alandi will also provide registered guests with a Yoga Nidra Companion Journal in PDF format, allowing each individual to track their journey toward peace of mind and wellness. Flyer printing is a fantastic way to spread the word around the community of such events to increase awareness and attendance.
Guests will experience a deep sense of relaxation as their nervous system transitions from a state of “survival mode” to one of pure rest. They can also expect any mental chatter or physical tension to melt away. A yoga mat, blanket, and pillow are recommended for the best experience.
The session will be held at 200 Gregory Lane in Pleasant Hill. It is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10th, at 6:00 PM. Tickets cost $50 per attendee online.
