The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce and Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce have announced that they will be hosting a joint mixer as part of an effort to bring both business communities closer together.
The event will be like any other Chamber mixer, but with members of each Chamber present and invited. It is being held at a unique event location that is important to members of both Chambers – The Army Navy Academy (2605 Carlsbad Blvd). This elite college preparatory boarding school admits boys for grades 7-12. The purpose of this event is therefore not just to allow Chamber members the chance to network with each other, but to give them an opportunity to explore a major local asset.
The event itself will be held on Wednesday, May 10, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm. Like any other Chamber event, this will include plenty of time for networking, and Chamber members should be prepared with plenty of Business Cards. The event will also feature light food and a cash bar. However, what makes this event a little bit more special is that the Army Navy Academy will be offering a tour of their campus, giving Chamber members a chance to check out one of the larger military facilities in the area.
The cost of the event is $10 for Chamber members, and $20 for future members.
