Oceanside will welcome runners and holiday visitors this November for the annual O’side Turkey Trot.
The Thanksgiving gathering welcomes participants to a 5K course, with a separate race giving younger runners a chance to join the festivities.
The early 5K wave is scheduled to begin at 7:00 am on North Coast Highway, with the course finishing near the amphitheatre along The Strand. The course follows Oceanside’s coastline, offering participants views of the Pacific along a relatively level route.
Participants will receive a custom race T-shirt and finisher medal, along with complimentary race photographs as well as access to live race results.
Additional attractions include a costume contest and entertainment along the course. The additional entertainment makes the gathering an occasion for spectators and families, as well as runners.
The event also supports the local community. Proceeds benefit the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank, as well as schools and nonprofit organizations across North County.
With registration open for 2026, participants are encouraged to secure their places in advance. For these kinds of events, organizers often rely on professional printing services to prepare event signage, race materials, and promotional displays that help guide participants and maintain a consistent event identity.
The O’side Turkey Trot will be held on Thursday, November 26 in Oceanside. More event information is available on the San Diego Running Co.’s official website.
