Oceanside will host a weekend of beach soccer action at Harbour Beach, as the Beach Soccer Championships return to the area.
The tournament will bring together youth teams, adult amateur players, and professional men’s and women’s squads for three days of competition on the sand. Organizers say the event will also include vendor booths, including food stalls, giving spectators more to explore beyond the matches.
Alongside the tournament, beach soccer camps and evening clinics for children will be offered, with free sessions aimed at introducing younger players to the sport. These sessions are expected to attract local families and provide a relaxed, hands-on opportunity for beginners to learn the basics in an attractive and supportive setting. Live music will be part of the event.
The championship marks the start of the summer soccer season in Southern California, offering a change from traditional field play. The event also aims to raise more than $200,000 for local youth programs in the surrounding communities.
