A creative afternoon is coming to the area as the Oceanside Art Collective prepares to host the Stella Maris Surf Paint Fundraiser.
The event will combine guided painting with support for a local nonprofit that teaches children with special needs how to surf.
Artists of all experience levels are welcome at the fundraiser. Over two hours, children, teenagers, and adults can create ocean-themed artwork in a relaxed studio setting. Since no previous painting experience is required, the fundraiser offers an accessible activity for families, beginners, and anyone interested in trying something new and creative.
A share of 30% of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit. The contribution will help promote inclusive surfing opportunities while supporting children’s confidence, as well as participation in the community.
