Locals to beautify Oceanside at Earth Day event

Next month, Green Oceanside Earth Day will take place in town as a way to bring the community together to help clean up Oceanside and pay respect to the environment.

The Earth Day event will be held by Green Oceanside, which is a city-run environmental campaign with the goal of educating businesses, residents, and visitors on how to better take care of the world around them. The event will be held in conjunction with the City’s Neighborhood Services Día Del Niño event, an annual celebration of children of Oceanside.

The Green Oceanside Earth Day will feature eco-friendly games and activities, and live musical performances. There will also be opportunities for attendees to join in a neighborhood clean-up to help keep Oceanside looking fresh and beautiful. All attendees will receive Green Oceanside reusable cups to be used at the onsite water. There will also be other giveaways of sustainable products and services.

Flyer printing as a method of advertising can greatly benefit organizers of community events like this as it is an easy method of boosting event visibility in an affordable manner.

The Earth Day event is scheduled to take place on April 25 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. It will be held at Joe Balderrama Park, located at 709 San Diego St, Oceanside. There is no cost to attend.
