Georgia Peach Truck will visit Oceanside in July. The company offers fresh peaches straight from Georgia, and Hewlett residents can also stop by to get some.
Peach season in Georgia can start around mid-May and continues throughout the summer. Wishing to share the state’s fresh peaches, Georgia Peach Truck started its Summer Road Trip to deliver peaches to cities outside of Georgia. These sales usually employ banner printing to help draw attention to the truck and its products.
The truck will offer peaches, both organic and regular. Peaches will be sold in Boxes, with each weighing 25lb and containing approximately 50 to 65 fruits. Georgia Peach Truck recommends pre-ordering purchases before the event date. Stock tends to sell out quickly, so pre-ordering can help guarantee buyers their peaches. The truck will also sell Georgian pecans for anyone interested.
It is recommended that visitors carry some form of contactless payment, as cash might be discouraged if there are long lines of buyers.
The truck will come by Oceanside on July 18 and will run from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Boxes of regular peaches go for $48, and organic ones are $64. Pecans will come in packs of approximately 350 halves and will go for $18. The truck will be located at Dees Nursery on 69 Atlantic Avenue.
