October to be ushered in with Oceanside-style Oktoberfest

The Moose Lodge of Oceanside will be holding Oktoberfest ‘Oceanside-Style’ with proceeds going to the local Women’s Resource Center.

The fundraiser will be held at the Moose Lodge, which is located at 2017 S. Coast Highway here in Oceanside, and will feature local Oceanside bands, a variety of food choices, and local brews.

Many events, particularly those held at a popular venue, utilize banner printing services.

Event restrictions to know about ahead of time include everyone having to show their ID before entering. The ID must show the individual to be at least 21 years of age, even if they are going to be a designated driver. Anyone under 21 caught trying to enter Surftoberfest will not be issued a refund.

Attendees should be aware that with the exception of service or guide dogs, no animals will be permitted on the premises. All weapons are strictly prohibited. Any individuals engaging in disruptive behavior face removal from the premises and possible arrest.

Oceanside’s premiere 80s band, The M80s will be the featured entertainment for the event and Suede Denim Secret Police will be the opening musical act.

As all the proceeds will be going to a recognized non-profit, ticket prices will be 100% tax deductible. Tickets can be purchased here. Surftoberfest will take place Saturday, October 1 and starts at 5:30 pm.
