The Oceanside Young Professional Network (OYPN) will be returning to its monthly in-person meetings in January. Chamber members and non-members who are in the appropriate age group (40 and under) are encouraged to attend the event in order to assist in the development of the program.
OYPN exists for the purpose of helping young professionals develop themselves professionally and build professional connections through measures far beyond merely handing out Business Cards. It also plays a vital part in the creation of events for young professionals where they can network with peers and engage with the local community through participating in activities and staying informed on certain issues.
Currently, the network represents a grand total of 38,000 employees who are a part of the network’s 600 participating businesses. Activities that the network presents include professional development workshops, volunteer opportunities, and team-building events. Monthly meetings at various restaurants are also a part of the network’s itinerary. Prospective parties who are interested in being involved in OYPN can contact Margery Benkaci at (760)722-1534.
The January OYPN meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 6th, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The meeting place will be Pacific Coast Spirits, which is located at 404 S Coast Highway. The event is free to attend for both members and non-members except for the price of a meal. Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
