Oceanside Historical Society to host downtown history walk

The Oceanside Historical Society has announced that they will be hosting guided history walks that will take event attendees throughout downtown Oceanside. These events are meant to serve as an introduction to the rich history of Oceanside, California, and give attendees a sense of just how far the community has come.

The tour is led by a member of the Oceanside Historical Society, who will explain the various landmarks throughout the community, as well as their historical significance. Stops on the tour include City Hall and the Library Building, the First National Bank of Oceanside, The Keisker Hotel, and much more.

Event attendees will have the opportunity to see the historical and modern mixed together. Officials have said that attendees will be able to check out the historic buildings and more. Tours like this are often advertised with poster printing.

This event is typically held on the second Saturday of the month. In July, the event will be held on July 13. It starts at 9:00 am in front of the Oceanside Public Library, located at 300 North Coast Highway. The walk typically ends around 11:00 am. The event is free, and registration is not required, although donations to the historical society are welcome.

Individuals who are unable to take this tour are encouraged to check out the self-guided tour, located on the Oceanside Historical Society website.
