Oceanside cycling club to host four-day event

The First Responder Cycling Club (FRCC) will hold its Summer Cycling Fiesta in Oceanside. It will be a members-only, free event taking place over four days.

The FRCC is a cycling club open to both first responders and everyday people, with the mission of promoting healthy activity and enhancing the fitness of first responders and others. The club supports and educates its members through educational events, fun rides, and online support. All skill levels are welcomed to join.

The Summer Cycling Fiesta will provide members with four days of cycle rides that will transverse the beautiful landscapes of San Diego. The first day’s ride, “Lagoons and History,” will visit Mission San Luis Rey, Legoland, Carlsbad Lagoons, Oceanside Harbor, and Heritage Park.

The second day’s ride, “Bikes and Boats,” will visit Downtown, Liberty Station, Bayshore Bikeway, USS Midway, and Coronado Ferry. The third day’s ride, “Jet Skis and Jets,” will feature UTC, Fiesta Island, MCAS, Sunset Cliffs, Ocean Beach, Point Loma, and Cabrillo National Monument. The fourth day’s ride, “Coastal Patrol,” will go by Carlsbad, Oceanside, Encinitas, Leucadia, Solana Beach, Cardiff, and Del Mar.

Recreational events like those are often advertised through flyer distribution, and Flyers in bulk can easily be printed at area businesses specializing in flyer printing.

The four-day event is scheduled for July 21 through July 24. It will begin at 1900 North Harbor Drive, Oceanside.
