Oceanside chamber to provide transportation update

The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce will provide a development update on local transportation lines and sites at an early February get-together.

The update will be given by Lillian Doherty, Director of Planning and Development for the North County Transit District.

At the event, Doherty will specifically discuss the various developments set to occur in the transit district. She will also discuss the transportation improvements currently in the planning stages. At the conclusion of her prepared remarks, Doherty will take questions from Chamber members who are attending the event, giving individuals a chance to learn more about the various developments and how they may impact their business.

As always, this Chamber event will have ample opportunity for networking, both before and after the program. Chamber members who want to grow their own business networks should bring a supply of up-to-date Business Cards and be ready to learn more about the various attendees at the event.

Local legislative representatives will also be on hand to answer questions from attendees about what is happening in government.

The event is being held on Thursday, February 1, from 8:00 am – 9:30 am. Breakfast will be served, and while the event is free, registration is required. The venue for the morning will be the Chamber office, which is located at 928 North Coast Highway, Oceanside.
