Oceanside chamber to host municipal event

A “Meet the City of Oceanside” reception will take place in a month’s time.

Hosted by the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, this event will allow event attendees the chance to meet local officials and get a better idea of the names and faces behind multiple Oceanside positions.

Chamber staff have said that numerous Oceanside elected and appointed officials will be at this reception. This includes the mayor, councilmembers, and numerous officials who fulfill various municipal roles within the city.

The event does not come with a formal speaking program or Q&A, save for brief remarks to introduce those in attendance. Instead, it is billed as a networking event, so attendees will have the chance to introduce themselves to Oceanside officials, ask questions, and get to know the people who run the city government. Chamber members who attend will also have the opportunity to network with each other, so are encouraged to bring plenty of Business Cards and be armed with questions for local businesses and government officials.

This event is being held on Thursday, March 21 at the William A. Wagner Aquatic Center Conference Room and Patio, 3306 Senior Center Drive, Oceanside. Appetizers and drinks will be available. Tickets are $70 for Chamber members and $110 for non-members, and event sponsorships are still available at the time of writing.
