Oceanside Chamber to host local public official

San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan will appear at an upcoming Emerging Issues forum, hosted by the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce.

At the event, District Attorney Stephan will address a variety of issues. She is expected to specifically discuss ways her office is attempting to reduce crime, homelessness, and organized theft.

Stephan will also be discussing the Shelter Bed App, a mobile app that connects individuals and local service providers with resources to reduce homelessness. It aims to make sure that users have access to the resources they need to survive.

After her prepared remarks, District Attorney Stephan will take questions from the audience.

In addition to hearing from the District Attorney, local legislators or their representatives will be on hand to provide updates.

In addition to being able to listen to speeches and answer questions, Chamber members will have an opportunity to network and meet new people. All members are encouraged to bring Business Cards and come with a networking mindset.

The Emerging Issues forum is a regular Chamber event that connects members with leaders in the community. This event is free to attend, but registration is required.

It will be held on Thursday, April 4 from 8:00am to 9:30am. The event is scheduled to be held at the Chamber offices, which can be found at 928 North Coast Highway, Oceanside.
