Oceanside businesswomen get networking opportunities

The Oceanside and Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will be hosting another Women in Networking event.

This event – designed exclusively for women – features members from both the Oceanside and Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to networking opportunities, this event will also feature Kimberly Aguirre of “Kimmy Gets Skinny.” After the pandemic, Kimmy created “doatnuts,” a healthy alternative to traditional donuts that were designed to help people eat comfort food yet still lose weight. Kimberly will share her story as she seeks to inspire other Chamber members to follow her path to business success.

If possible, event attendees are asked to donate dry-cleaned attire for the Chamber’s student and transitioning adult programs. This business-level clothing can help these individuals prepare for job interviews and enter the working world.

The event will be held on Friday, February 3, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. It will be held at the Broken Yolk, which is located at 2434 Vista Way, Oceanside. Tickets are $20 and include breakfast and event attendance. With it being a networking event, attendees should be prepared to meet new people and bring plenty of Business Cards.

More information on the event – including how to register – can be found at the Chamber’s website. Chamber members can also explore other upcoming events here, including the Women in Networking series.
