The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce – the largest business organization in Oceanside, California – has announced that they will be hosting an upcoming event with Oceanside Economic Development Manager Michelle Geller.
Geller will present an update about the current economic development initiatives that are happening in Oceanside. She will also review past economic development achievements. From there, Geller will open the discussion to questions and answers, giving event attendees the chance to inquire about what is happening in Oceanside and how current events may impact them or their business.
Geller has managed economic development initiatives in Oceanside since she was hired for the position in 2019. Before that, she worked in various economic development positions. Her experiences crosses many arenas, including economic development, employee recruitment, grant administration, and more.
After the question-and-answer period with Geller has concluded, attendees will also hear from local legislative representatives and be able to get an update on current legislative issues.
According to officials, this event is expected to be expected by employees from across the Oceanside area. As such, attendees are encouraged to bring Business Cards and be ready to meet new contacts.
