Marine Corps birthday celebration coming to Oceanside

Veterans in Oceanside should ensure a clear schedule in mid-November, as they have a 248th Marine Corps birthday celebration to look forward to.

The Marine Corps birthday bash will be held at the Northern Pine Brewing in a few weeks, and active service members, veterans, and neighbors are invited to attend. It is the first time the celebration will be open to the public, providing each Marine with a safe and welcoming place to celebrate.

The event will involve several stages, including cake cutting, speeches from Marine veterans, and plenty of toasts. Attendees can expect to see much of the camaraderie Marines are commonly known for. The celebrations will coincide with a happy hour special provided by the hosting venue, including 20% off all beers.

The ceremony will begin when the happy hour concludes, and the party will proceed with a toast to the fallen Marines and the performance of the National Anthem by local artist Shane Hall. The Commandant will then share a message before happy hour resumes. No doubt, banner printing will be used to enhance the birthday atmosphere.

Festivities are scheduled to begin at 5:00pm and end at 9:00pm on Saturday, November 10th. Admittance to the event is free, and interested parties can contact Northern Pine Brewery at contact@northernpinebrewery.com for more information about the Marine Corps Birthday Celebration.
