The Long Beach Comic Expo is coming to the city this month for two days.
This event will attract some of the country's best artists, writers, actors and creators of comic Books. Some of those who have been confirmed to appear include Keith Coogan, Ave Rose, and Power Rangers Cameron Jebo and Ciara Hanna. There are set to be panel discussions, meet and greets with some of the special guests, photo opportunities, and a cosplay (costume) contest.
The cosplay contest is taking place on the first day of the expo. Participants will compete for various titles including Best in Show, Best Construction, Best Anime, and Best Kid. All of the costumes must be original and winners will be judged on difficulty, creativity, accuracy, and showmanship or character. The contest is open to those aged six and over.
Another big part of the expo will be the vendors’ room which will feature an Artist Alley. Vendors will be selling such items as comic books, Posters, photographs, and original paintings.
Organizers may have invested in flyer printing services to spread the word in Long Beach.
The Long Beach Comic Expo will be held at the Convention Center from February 20 to 21. A weekend pass costs $50, Saturday is $30, and Sunday is $50. To find out the latest about this event, visit its official website.
