Scrumptious seafood event scheduled for Long Beach

An event celebrates some of the best food in Southern California will take place in Long Beach.

The 2nd Annual Seafood Festival brings chefs from the best restaurants in Los Angeles and throughout Orange County together to offer their versions of seafood dishes. The event is suitable for all ages, and will take place in Shoreline Aquatic Park, which gives attendees beautiful views of the ocean, as well as the Queen Mary.

Admission includes music provided all day long by a DJ and a live band, who will bring back the hits of the 1980s and 1990s. Professionals will give hip-hop dance lessons for students of all ages, and Celebrity Chef Shaun O’Neale, the seventh-season winner of “Master Chef,” will give food demonstrations. The Bubble Lady of Long Beach will also be on hand, and those who are really daring can try riding “Jorge,” a mechanical bull that will be available all day.

Family-friendly events include games, a live pirate show, as well as a chance to meet mermaids who will participate in a storytime for children. Flyer printing can be used to create handouts for attendees giving them a schedule for the day.

The seafood festival is scheduled for May 8, and people are urged to buy tickets online as soon as possible. People will be able to choose their entrees as they make their reservations. No admission will be offered at the event if all the tickets are already gone.
