Police up for the hunt in Long Beach
The Long Beach Police Officers Association will hold in the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the POA Park in April.
The event is open to active, retired and honorary Long Beach Police Officers Association members.
The Easter Egg Hunt will take place in the morning, followed by a BBQ lunch at noon. Children are encouraged to bring a basket to collect the eggs and family members will want to have a camera available.
Many activities are planned, including Easter bunnies and face painters. A bounce house is part of the festivities too.
Various displays and demonstrations are also scheduled. A K9 demonstration is a highlight of the event, with police dogs showing their expertise, strength, and intelligence.
A SWAT display features the tools and resources used by the Long Beach SWAT team in addition to techniques used by the professionals including a SWAT robot. A motor display and historical cars will be included in the attractions.
Poster printing will be an effective method of communicating the event to the residents and visitors. Easter brings vibrant spring colors that can be incorporated into the poster design by a qualified print company.
