What's Happening in Long Beach, CA…

New Blues Festival to return for eighth run

The New Blues Festival VIII will come to Long Beach again next month. Featuring various different musical artists, the event gives blues fans a chance to enjoy the music they love.

The festival will have some renowned names in the blues scene, which includes artists like Tito Jackson, Sugaray Rayford, and Laurie Morvan. The event will happen outside at a park, so guests are encouraged to bring something to sit on, like foldable chairs or blankets.

Organizers are also looking for vendors to help support the festival. Craft, food, and corporate vendors looking to attend can contact organizers at vendor@longbeachbluessociety.org. If approved, each vendor will receive a 10-by-10 space to set up their booths. Events like these also tend to use banner printing to help vendors promote their booths to visitors.

In compliance with safety regulations, guests are encouraged to wear face masks while at the festival. Organizers will also ensure that the festival will follow state guidelines and that masks will be available.

The New Blues Festival will take place on November 13th at 9:00 AM. General admission to the event is $50, but there are also Gold and VIP options for $100 and $200 respectively. These premium options grant benefits like closer seating, merchandise discounts, and parking priority. The festival will happen at the Shoreline Aquatic Park on 200 Aquarium Way.
