A Long Beach venue that provides the public with the chance to learn about the oceans and the creatures that call them home has a Halloween-themed event on the way, full of frightfully good fun for the whole family.
The Aquarium of the Pacific will be showcasing its spooky side when it transforms, for one evening, into the Scarium of the Pacific. It will have a Halloween theme, and while attendees have fun, they will also be learning about the world around them.
This will be the 25th year that the venue has offered this spooky celebration, and the planners have included both coloring and costume contests on its agenda. A vampire magician will be performing for the crowd, and everyone can enjoy the fun of watching an underwater pumpkin carver at work. There will be creepy critters to meet and view, and the kids can do some trick or treating, collecting candy and Promotional Products as they go.
To help make sure the event is fun for everyone, the organizers have requested that full face masks not be worn and that all costumes are family friendly. Both Aquarium members and the general public are welcome, and admission starts at $16.95 for those with a membership.
This evening that celebrates the thrills and chills of learning about marine life will be on offer on Friday, October 18. It will begin at 6:30 pm.
