Long Beach to welcome return of Zombie Walk
Some zombies have been spotted heading for Long Beach, but luckily, it is all in good fun.
The annual Long Beach Zombie Walk will once again take to the streets of Shoreline Village for a free evening of entertainment. The organizers say it may not be suitable for infants or pets, but overall, the event is family friendly.
Guests can choose from a children's or adults’ area, and each will have its own set of activities. Face painting, balloon twisters, bounce houses, and yard games will be on offer for the younger boys and “ghouls” in the crowd, while the grown-ups can take in a choreographed dance routine, enter the costume or pie eating contests, and pose for photo ops with the costumed characters who will be circulating. A donation-based photo booth will be on hand, and the celebration will wrap up with the zombie walk.
The planners of this Halloween-themed occasion are interested in hearing from vendors offering merchandise that fits in well with the theme of the occasion. Spaces are $125 each. Large events often make use of decor and other materials prepared by a banner printing company.
Long Beach will be welcoming all ages for its annual Zombie Walk and other Halloween activities on Saturday, October 19. More information will be released as its date approaches.
