What's Happening in Long Beach, CA…

Long Beach to welcome return of pet-centered celebration

The 2nd annual Long Beach Pet Adoption and Craft Fair is set to host its biggest year yet, and with so much fun on the agenda, it will be spread out over two days.

Several local organizations involved in companion animal welfare will be teaming up for this special occasion, which has come to be a real crowd-pleaser for pet parents. It will also support area small businesses and give each an opportunity to expand its customer base.

The festival will run for six hours on both of its scheduled dates, during which time the public will be able to shop the vendor tables, visit the booths set up by not-for-profit groups, and meet others who care about animals. Admission is free, and while pets are welcome, they must be leashed or in a suitable carrier. The participating rescue and rehoming groups will each have their own policies regarding on site pet adoptions.

Organizations that rescue and rehome companion animals often ask those wishing to adopt to fill out application forms. These can be designed by area stationery printers, and may be crafted so they include a logo design.

The 2nd annual Long Beach Summer Pet Adoption and Craft Fair will put companion animals front and center on July 8 and 9. It is scheduled to be held at the Marina Green Park.
