A concert will be held in Long Beach this December, paying tribute to Amy Winehouse.
The performance comes from experienced vocalist Mia Karter, who has played in numerous locations where she has gathered a loyal following for her powerful, yet soothing tones. For this event, fans of legendary soul and R&B legend Winehouse may enjoy renditions of her most popular songs, which will include both her covers and original pieces.
Karter gained her talent for singing through classical music. After an introduction to R&B and jazz, she later changed genres. She moved to California in pursuit of her passions, and has since then worked on a number of ghost-writing projects. She now specializes in voiceovers, as well as live productions, such as her stage presence as Winehouse.
This event serves as the final in a series held in Long Beach over the course of the holiday season. The cost for entry to this event will be $20 for general admission, while VIP will be $55. Lounge seats are also available for selection at $45. Tickets are available for purchase on the events website.
