Long Beach fundraiser to support So Cal Easter Seals
Easter Seals has a history of supporting and advocating for rights and inclusion for disabled people of all ages, and one of its fundraisers will soon be held in Long Beach.
Marina Green Park will be the location for the annual Easter Seals Walk for Southern California, and there will be a 3k fun walk and a 5k run. A virtual option is available for those who prefer to participate from home or another location.
The 5k run and the 3k walk are open to all ages, and registration starts at $40. All of those who sign up to participate in person will receive an assortment of branded items. These include promotional products such as a race T-shirt, sunglasses, a finishing medal and race bib, and there will be special giveaways and snacks as well. The virtual walkers and runners will also receive a finisher’s medal, as well as a downloadable graphic design for their individual race bib. Everyone who signs on to take part will have the opportunity to take part in an assortment of online activities.
